Data retention policy

What is kept, why, and when it is deleted

• Student profile. Kept for plan and gates. Deleted on guardian request or 30 days after account close.
• Daily log. Kept for Colorado attendance records. Kept while the account is open; exported to the family before deletion.
• Assessment results. Kept for Colorado testing records. Kept while the account is open; exported to the family before deletion.
• Consent records. Kept for proof of consent. Kept for the life of the account plus 3 years.
• Generated lessons. Kept for uniqueness check. Fingerprint kept, lesson text deleted after 1 school year.
